Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
Thematic issues: Unsafe and inadequate water for drinking, inadequate sanitation facilities and poor hygiene practices
Strategic Objective: The strategic objective is to assist community members to access appropriate resources to improve access to safe and adequate drinking water, adequate sanitation facilities and good hygiene practices.
Sub-objectives are:
- To promote water supply infrastructure and development (including maintenance systems)
- To encourage the establishment of appropriate sanitation facilities
- To promote good practices that minimize/avoid water contamination and waste
